These are my cousins, the children of my dad's older brother, Charles. The girl lived in Newmarket, Iowa but she's gone now --died of leukemia. She married a "Pershing" --one of General Pershing's relations.

The boy lives in Staunton, Virginia. He volunteered in the World War II in the Navy. He picked up Chinese and Japanese pretty readily so he was assigned to translate messages. When he came back he put in the first automatic washing machines in the state of Virginia then he went on to building big stores and renting out the space to people. He was into antique furniture and searched up and down the East Coast for it. He had a big sale barn with a revolving table in it and he bought and sold antiques. He sold so much it got to be so that nobody had any antiques left that they wanted to sell. He became a millionaire. As far as I know he's still alive but he has Parkinson's now and can't write.
