Ruth was the youngest daughter of Ophelia and Joshua Madden and was born 29 December, 1892. Although she never married, she was around children all her life as she taught school for 32 years and was a typical 'old maid' school teacher. Ruth passed away 13 September, 1981, the last of this family.
