Myrtle (Myrtie) was the oldest daughter of Ophelia and Joshua, and the only child that married --besides my Mother. She was born 2 December, 1875 and she married Jesse on 22 March, 1899, but they had no children.

They were married 50+ years when Jesse passed away in 1954. Myrtie passed away 3 June, 1959 at the age of 83.They were both very good to my Mother and me, had a car and took us places.
