Another example of an awkward-looking adolescent. For some reason the subjects' feet are often turned outward in these poses, creating a most unnatural, pigeon-toed look. Perhaps Caleb wanted to emphasis the stylishness of the subject's lace-up boots.

This portrait is also somewhat unusual in that it features a book for a prop.
